FILE 001 / MARK / CLOSED
Gallant
Mind. Body. Soul.
01 / The Scene
A performance wellness brand, built from scratch, for a founder most of the world already knew. The CBD category it entered was saturated and self-similar: overhyped promises, underperforming products, and a visual language of leaves, lab coats, and serenity stock photography that made every brand indistinguishable from the next. The brief was to cut through without adding to the noise. The category's answer to sameness had always been volume. The evidence pointed somewhere else.
02 / The Evidence
The category default is to hide the founder behind the product. The investigation found the opposite move sitting in plain sight: Bill Goldberg himself was the most specific asset the brand could ever own. His tribal markings, drawn on his body for decades before the company existed. His Tulsa roots. A physicality built on a career of discipline, not decoration. Every other CBD brand had to invent its identity. This one had been carrying its identity around for forty years.
03 / The Verdict
The co-founder's body was the brief. The identity was already drawn. The investigation just had to find it.
04 / The Artifact
Every element traces to the evidence. The G icon is drawn from the forms of Goldberg's tattoo markings: not referenced, derived. The color system comes from his Tulsa roots. The voice speaks the way the man trains: clearly, with discipline, motivating without selling.
05 / The Chain
Read it backward. The apparel carries the icon. The icon derives from the markings. The markings were the evidence. The evidence produced the verdict, and the verdict governed everything that shipped. Nothing without a finding.
